Rafael Nadal continued his seemingly inexorable march through the Australian Open draw by beating No. 28 seed Damir Dzumhur in the third round 6-1, 6-3, 6-1.

Nadal played far above his opponent's level, breaking Dzumhur's serve seven times, and offering up only two break-point chances.

The Spaniard's only notable hiccup came before the match even commenced, when he received a start-of-play time violation from umpire Carlos Bernardes. But that didn't stop him from finishing the first set 6-1 in just 22 minutes.

Nadal would wrap up his day's work 10 minutes shy of two hours. Dzumhur has still had quite the memorable week, for better or worse.

Nadal will face Diego Schwartzman, in the round of 16. He leads their career head-to-head 3-0.
