MELBOURNE — The 2008 Australian Open champs, Maria Sharapova and Novak Djokovic, are off to a roaring start. Is it possible that they can both be the last players standing, 10 years later?

Sharapova opened with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Timea Babos, while Djokvoic—returning after six long months away—whipped past Donald Young, 6-1, 6-2, 6-4.

Let's not forget about Simona Halep. The world No. 1 was pushed hard by 17-year-old Destanee Aiava, but put her Melbourne curse (two straight first-round losses) behind her.

Watch for all three to take the court on Day 4 at the Australian Open.
