It's hard to come back from a complete beatdown in the first set as Su-Wei Hsieh experienced in her first round match against Zhu Lin on Day 2 in Melbourne. However, after getting bageled, the 32-year-old Hsieh came back and produced her own bagel, and then fought for the third set, winning the match, 0-6, 6-0, 8-6.

Hsieh, more well-known for her doubles success, has produced her career-best singles Slam run at the Australian Open (reaching the fourth round 10 years ago).

The Taiwanese star faces No. 3-seeded Garbine Muguruza in the second round.
