CoCo Vanedweghe was having the time of her life in Australia for the Hopman Cup. She took the day off to go skydiving on Rottnest Island, near Perth, with her team.

The photo evidence looks terrifying and amazing at the same time. Her coach, Pat Cash, also took the leap.

This wasn't the only detour from their regular days spent on the court. After her partner Jack Sock was injured in his singles match against Japan's Yuichi Sugita, Cash stepped in.

"It's fun to play with Pat," Vandeweghe said. "I've actually never been on the same side as [him]."

The player-and-coach duo would fall to Sugita and Australia's Maddison Inglis (who was subbing in for Naomi Osaka).
