Tie Break Tens is coming to Melbourne on January 10 with Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic committed to playing.

It will be the fourth edition of the event, an exhibition that fits an entire tennis tournament into one night by condensing each match to just a super tiebreak, i.e. first to 10 points, and win by 2.

Younger players have shined in this format in the past, with the previous winners being Kyle Edmund, Dominic Thiem, Grigor Dimitrov and Simona Halep.

In addition to Djokovic and Kyrgios, the Tie Break Tens website promises "six players still to be announced, including a TBTens Wild Card."

There's no indication that the tournament, scheduled for Jan. 10 at Margaret Court Arena, will include women this time around.

The winner will walk away with $250,000. Kyrgios tweeted that the event will also benefit his NK Foundation.

Tie Break Tens adds yet another option to the list of non-tour events that players can choose from in the lead-up to the Australian Open. Djokovic is playing an exhibition in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, and Kyrgios is booked to play in the Fast4 Showdown with Rafael Nadal in Sydney.
