Querrey is coming off of one of his best career years, with two titles, a semifinal run at Wimbledon and a quarterfinal showing in New York. He's nearing the Top 10, a milestone he has yet to reach after 11 years on tour.

"Now that I'm 30 years old, more time off is a little more beneficial for me compared to when I was younger," Querrey said. It let me relax and clear my mind—that's kind of the balance that I'm looking for as I'm getting older especially."
