Sam Querrey is excited and feeling fresh ahead of the 2018 season. It might just be because the world No. 13's offseason highlights have been as impressive as his on-court highs in 2017.

First, he attended John Isner's spectacular December country wedding in Bluffton, S.C.

"The wedding was amazing," Querrey said. "It was honestly the most amazing wedding I've ever been to and will probably ever go to. A lot of tennis guys were there and everyone just had a blast. I'm sure that John [Isner] and Madison [Mckinley] thought that it went perfectly."

Isner and his new wife sure looked like they enjoyed both their wedding and the aftermath:

Then Querrey jetted off to the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai for a vacation of his own with girlfriend Abby Dixon.

"I actually went right from [the wedding] to Hawaii for six days with my girlfriend for a vacation that we had booked for about seven or eight months," Querrey said.

Querrey is coming off of one of his best career years, with two titles, a semifinal run at Wimbledon and a quarterfinal showing in New York. He's nearing the Top 10, a milestone he has yet to reach after 11 years on tour.

The next season should be just as fruitful, given how well he's preparing. His schedule already includes Auckland and the Australian Open in January and the brand-new New York Open in February.

"Now that I'm 30 years old, more time off is a little more beneficial for me compared to when I was younger," Querrey said. "I'm in my second day back of preseason and the time off and getting away was really good. It let me relax and clear my mind—that's kind of the balance that I'm looking for as I'm getting older especially."
