Nicole Gibbs made a lot of big strides in 2017, while going through her fair share of lows. She documented her entire journey with the Tennis Channel on a new platform called My Tennis Life.

The American recently sat down in the studio to reflect on her season, and talk about some of her most memorable moments both on and off the court.

Gibbs best week on the WTA Tour saw her qualify for the US Open and take a set off then-world No. 1 Karolina Pliskova in the second round:

The world No. 110 also spent some weeks on the ITF Pro Circuit, winning a $25,000 in Baton Rouge and reaching the final of a $25,000 in Auburn.

The 24-year-old will try to continue her progress in 2018, particularly by qualifying for the Australian Open.
