Born in 2004, Cori "Coco" Gauff is frequently called the future GOAT. So much so, in fact, that she's had to make her Instagram bio: "I am not going to be the next Serena Williams, I am going to be the first Cori 'Coco' Gauff."

But the hype isn't without merit.

A year ago, Gauff won the U12 Junior Orange Bowl—previously won by stars like Steffi Graf, Mary Joe Fernandez, Monica Seles, Jennifer Capriati and Madison Keys—without dropping a set.

And she took third this summer in the USTA Girls' 18 National Clay Court Championships. (Keep in mind, she is 13.)

Gauff later finished second at the International Hard Court Junior Tennis Championships in Maryland.

In September, she made the final of the girls' US Open, becoming the youngest-ever to do so.

This week, Gauff competed at the U18 Orange Bowl, one of the biggest events in junior tennis.

With a tough draw, she fell out in the second round in a three-set loss to the top seed, 15-year-old junior French Open champion Whitney Osuigwe.

According to junior tennis reporter Colette Lewis, Gauff has already gone pro, signing with Roger Federer's agency, Team8.

But don't worry, Rafa fans, she's gotten the attention of Rafael Nadal, too:
