Sports Illustrated has released 18 names of charitable athletes for the "Athletes Who Care" list. The NFL's J.J. Watt leads the countdown with Serena Williams following close behind at No. 4.

Williams runs the Serena Williams Fund and has helped build schools in Africa on top of building the Yetunde Price Resource Center in Compton.

Monica Puig comes in at No. 8 thanks to her efforts in raising money to aid hurricane efforts in Puerto Rico. She has raised more than $160,000 so far.

Williams and Puig are the only tennis players on the list, but many, many others have done their part to better the world including the likes of Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal, to name just a few.
