News of Serena Williams' fairytale wedding to Alexis Ohanian broke just days before the ceremony took place last Thursday in New Orleans. But, guests had a very hard time spoiling any surprises through social media.

Williams and her new husband Alexis Ohanian agreed to have Vogue cover the inside scoop and photos from their special day. That meant that everyone in attendance was barred from posting anything during the rehearsal dinner or wedding.

The approximately 250 guests included celebrities and social media moguls such as Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Ciara, Anna Wintour and Kim Kardashian.

For the task of preventing leaks, Williams called upon a trendy new technology blocker called Yondr. Remember that Williams accidentally revealed her pregnancy on Snapchat, and is no stranger to posting about her daily life on both Snapchat and Instagram.

Yondr is a pouch that lets you keep your phone in your possession but stops you from using it in a designated area—useful for concerts, performances and private events.

Needless to say, Yondr did the trick and Williams was kept in full control of how photos and details of her special day were revealed to the public.
