A 21-shot rally between Dimitrov and Sock utilized all corners and impressive varieties of shots. Dimitrov eventually hit a booming forehand that set up Sock’s last-ditch dive to stay in the point. Fortunately, a changeover followed because Sock looked like he needed a pillow and oxygen.

Dimitrov moves up to a career-high No. 3 and will take on new world No. 7 Goffin in a round-robin rematch that Dimitrov easily won 6-0, 6-2 on Wednesday.
