Andy Murray is officially a father of two. The 30-year-old welcomed a second girl with his wife, Kim Sears. Murray's grandmother Shirley Erskine confirmed the news with the BBC:

"All is well which is the main thing," she said. "Lovely baby—a little playmate for Sophia."

Murray and Sears welcomed their first daughter in February 2016. They haven't revealed the second daughter's name just yet, and kept the news of her birth very quiet for a couple of weeks.

"They managed to keep it private, because this is a very private thing," Erskine said.

The news emerged just after Murray played in an exhibition match against Roger Federer in Glasgow. Federer has four children, while Murray joins Novak Djokovic as a father of two after the Djokovic's welcomed a baby girl in September.
