Kim Clijsters presented Wozniacki with the Singapore trophy. In 2010, the Belgian was the one to defeat Wozniacki in the WTA Finals championship match.

Clijsters also shared this incredible throwback photo of Wozniacki and Williams.

Wozniacki’s serve was stronger than ever—maybe some of her accuracy drills finally paid off.

"I'm really proud of how I have played all week and how I have fought and how I really produced some great fighting out there,” she told the WTA. “To be here with the trophy means a lot, and it's a great way to finish off the year."

Wozniacki is now back in the hunt for No. 1 again. This season, she compiled a 60-21 record including 14 wins in 20 matches against Top 10 players.

After reaching six finals, she won Tokyo and Singapore, defeating three No. 1's along the way. Though Simona Halep has clinched the year-end No. 1 ranking, Wozniacki is only 120 points behind Garbine Muguruza and 160 points behind Halep.
