Exactly one year ago on October 19th, Roger Federer joined Rafael Nadal during the grand opening of his tennis academy in Mallorca. Back then, both were injured, having ended their 2016 seasons early, and their futures were uncertain. No one could have expected them to dominate the Grand Slams, and sit at No. 1 and No. 2 in the rankings just one year later.

Federer talks about how the academy sent him on the course towards his incredible 2017 season.

"This year all started after the Rafael Nadal Academy," Federer said. "So I hope that I get an invitation soon again and get inspired."

Federer is 4-0 against Nadal in 2017, most reason winning in Shanghai final, 6-3, 6-4.
