Recent Shanghai champion Roger Federer divulged all his secrets about the ATP Masters 1000 series. The Swiss is an expert after all, having won 27 Masters titles during his career (so far).

He admitted that Shanghai and Indian Wells are his favorite, which is fitting since he won both those titles this season.

The 36-year-old also said he loves the buzz of Shanghai, and the history of Rome (as well as the pizza and pasta).

There are nine Masters tournaments on the schedule: Indian Wells, Miami, Monte Carlo, Madrid, Rome, Canada, Cincinnati, Shanghai and Paris.

The world No. 2 still has Paris left to play, but will appear in Basel before then.
