At just 20 years old, Alexander Zverev already knows how to put on a show-stopping speech. The world No. 4 got the honor of introducing Roger Federer at the Laver Cup opening night gala. He tells the tale of meeting Federer in 2003, when he was just five years old.

"I came up to him and wanted an autograph…," Zverev said. "He said maybe if you work hard maybe one day we might be playing each other somewhere. I was like yeah, well, maybe. But no chance you could have known we would have been on one team."

Zverev is actually 2-2 in head-to-head matches with the 19-time Grand Slam champion. Yes, the Laver Cup is an exhibition. But what it lacks in ranking points it's making up for with incredible memories.

Federer served more as coach than player on Friday in Prague, while Zverev scored a point for Team Europe with a 7-6 (3), 706 (5) win over Denis Shapovalov.
