WATCH: Nadal helps coach Thiem to Laver Cup victory

Captain Borg isn't afraid to call in backup.

Bjorn Borg is technically the captain of Team Europe at the Laver Cup in Prague. But that doesn't mean he can't use his well-qualified resources. The Swede had both Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal on the bench on Friday, and they stepped in as assistant coaches during the changeovers.

Nadal, in particular, had some things to share as Dominic Thiem battled with John Isner.

Team Europe has a 2-0 lead over Team World with a win from Marin Cilic over Frances Tiafoe, and Thiem's 6-7 (15), 7-6 (2), 10-7 win over Isner.
