That's a pretty solid way to describe Sloane Stephens' unexpected run from foot surgery in January all the way to US Open champion in September. Jimmy Kimmel poked fun at her prize money meme, and how she nearly broke the trophy within minutes of receiving it.

Stephens also revealed some behind-the-scenes secrets from her Sports Illustrated cover, namely that she picked the photo herself.

The American appeared on a slew of television sets after stunning compatriot Madison Keys, 6-3, 6-0 in the US Open final on Saturday.

She has been on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Good Morning American, Sports Center and Live with Kelly and Ryan, to name a few.
