The cast of the Battle of the Sexes sat down with Mary Carillo to chat about the film that covers the real 1973 match between Bobby Riggs and Billie Jean King, while diving into bigger topics like women's rights and sexual discrimination.

The cast includes the likes of Emma Stone (as Billie Jean King), Steve Carrel (as Riggs), Elisabeth Shue (Riggs' wife Priscilla), Alan Cummings (as Ted Tinling) and Sarah Silverman (as Gladys Heldman).

Stone, who won an Oscar this year for La La Land, was portraying a real, living person for the first time in her career.

"It was a big deal," Stone said. "It was obviously so exciting to get to tell the story of Billie Jean King. But the pressure of wanting to live up to her, which of course you never can, so just [trying] to capture her essence was a tall order."

The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival over the weekend, and is set to release in select theaters on September 22 and worldwide on September 29.
