Nadal doesn't want to be Federer's boyfriend

The Spaniard got the press rolling with laughter during a Q&A.

It's no secret that Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal share a friendship off the court, and have created a historical rivalry on it.

During a post-match press conference at the US Open, one reporter wanted to see how far Nadal's admiration for the Swiss went, asking, "What do you admire most about him as a man off the court?"

Nadal looked puzzled before responding in the best way possible:

"I don't want to look like I gonna be his boyfriend, no?"

Not only will Nadal never be Federer's life partner, but he'll also have to wait another year to play the 36-year-old at the US Open.

Nadal will take on Juan Martin del Potro in the semifinals on Friday, after the Argentinian beat Federer in four sets.
