When a tennis player has a $450 million net worth, they can drop thousands on shoes as if they're going grocery shopping. Roger Federer does just that in the latest Complex video, while also discussing his favorite pairs of sneakers from his childhood, as well as sharing an incredible story of his father leaving him behind on a park bench for misbehaving.

"I don't like to take risks with my shoes] every time, but sometimes it's good fun," Federer said. "Like [with the orange shoes, the sole, I was wearing at Wimbledon. I didn't think it would pass, it didn't, but I was allowed to wear it for one round. I learned my lesson because I lost in the second round right after."

After discussing shoe design at length, Federer bought eight pairs of sneakers for a total of $5,185.72.
