Presenting your daily look at the doubles action at the US Open.

The US Open men’s and mixed doubles semifinals are set, with some blowouts  and squeakers along the way. One women’s team is already through to the final four: Lucie Hradecka and Katerina Siniakova, who beat Andreja Klepac and Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez on Tuesday.

Here’s a look at the scheduled matches that will complete women’s semifinal field. “Scheduled” being the operative word as rain is in the forecast for Wednesday.

Martina Hingis/Yung-Jan Chan (2) vs. Hao-Ching Chan/Shuai Zhang

Hingis and Chan are on the verge of getting their first Slam title together. However, they face a formidable roadblock in Yung-Jan’s little sis—Hao-Ching, who’s coming off her first Slam final at Wimbledon—and Zhang. The two sisters have had success in the past playing with each other—including this year in Strasbourg—and know each other’s game inside and out.

Lucie Safarova/Barbora Strycova (3) vs. Gabriela Dabrowski/Yifan Xu (9)

Memories of any midseason slump should be thoroughly be forgotten at this point for Dabrowski and Xu, who are currently riding a seven-match winning streak. Though they aren’t regular partners, Safarova and Strycova have had success in big moments together in the past, namely last year’s Olympics, where they won the bronze medal.

Timea Babos/Andrea Hlavackova (5) vs. Sania Mirza/Shuai Peng (4)

Even though she got off to a hot start at the beginning of the year, the rest of 2017 hasn’t been up to Mirza’s usual standards. She’s close, though, to making it all right again. Both teams squeaked by in third-set tiebreakers in their previous match and will come into this one battle-tested.
