The US Open wasn't kind to the 19th seed, but the Internet turned

Gilles Muller normally isn't in the spotlight (except for when he defeated Rafael Nadal at Wimbledon), but his epic racket smash in the second round of the US Open has gone viral. This probably wasn't the attention he was looking to garner, but it's hard not to watch it on repeat.

Thanks to Eurosport, the 19th seed is now responsible for most recent major sports mishaps, all thanks to his racket abuse. Not surprisingly, Muller lost his match against Paolo Lorezni, 7-6 (4), 3-6, 6-7(4), 3-6.
