It took only five minutes for Daria Kasatkina to come up with what may very well be the shot of the week at the Rogers Cup in Toronto. The 20-year-old Russian was playing the always-creative Roberta Vinci, but she landed herself on the highlight reels with an incredible tweener winner from behind the baseline.

Vinci could only watch as the ball soared by her forehand side at the net, immediately applauding the world No. 36 for her effort. Kasatkina, who also beat Vinci at the Rogers Cup last year en route to the quarterfinals, beat the Italian, 7-6(3), 7-6(1) to set up a second round match against No. 5-seeded Elina Svitolina, who beat the Russian last August in three sets.
