This week was the first really quiet week I've had in a while. After 15 weeks in a row on the road, a break was definitely needed. I took the week off in Tampa with my coach. I got in on Monday after playing World Team Tennis Sunday night. It was a quiet first few days, we played golf Tuesday at TPC Tampa and again on Wednesday.

We got back on the court on Thursday to start preparing for my hard-court swing. Coming off grass, where the ball bounces low and rallies are very few, and then coming onto hard takes a little getting used to. We trained for three days in the morning, with a little golf in the afternoon. I definitely feel refreshed and ready to get back out there.

Saturday night I flew up to New York and joined back up with the Washington Kastles for the end of the WTT season. I'll play two more matches in California before heading to an ATP Challenger in Aptos, Calif.

I'll let you know how the week goes as a prepare for my next run of tournaments.
