2017 Highlights: Reached his first ATP Masters 1000 fourth round in Miami, and his second Grand Slam third round at Wimbledon.

Best US Open Performance: In 2016, Donaldson qualified, scored his first US Open main-draw win by upsetting David Goffin, and then reached the third round.

Ranking: No. 60

Residence: Orlando, Fl.

2017 Highlights: Won his third and fourth career ATP Challenger titles (back to back) in Sarasota and France.

Best US Open Performance: The teenager pushed John Isner to five thrilling sets last year, but fell, 6-3, 6-4, 6-7 (5), 2-6, 6-7 (3).

Residence: West Covina, Calif.

2017 Highlights: Escobedo made his first ATP semifinal in Houston, with an upset of John Isner along the way.

Best US Open Performance: The Californian earned a wild card into the main draw last year, and won his first career Grand Slam match over Lukas Lacko.
