For all the international fanfare over a pregnant Serena Williams' Vanity Fair cover, suffice it to say that not everyone loves it.

AdWeek reports that Gelson's Markets in at least three areas of Los Angeles have censored the cover by placing a blank card in front of Williams' body, moving the issue to magazine racks elsewhere in the stores (hello, liquor aisle), or both.

A Gelson's representative responded to AdWeek's request for comment to say that, yes, indeed, a few of its customers asked that the cover put some figurative clothes on. Social media users have made allegations of sexism, racism and more, as the matter has taken what of itself is a celebratory experience–carrying and nurturing a child inside oneself–and sought to make Williams a regional, political firebrand of sorts.

Williams herself hasn't commented on the supermarket's move, regarded by some as a snafu and by others as a relatively pesky peccadillo. Let this much be known: She has bigger fish to fry–or, to be literal, far more important things to birth.
