So, I'm still in London which is a good thing! It's normally strange to be in one city for me for more than two weeks but this time it's worth it.

My partner Rob Lindstedt and I reached the third round of doubles after beating the No. 3 seeds, Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares, in five sets late on Friday night.* Wimbledon is still the only Grand Slam where the men's doubles is played over five sets and something that's enjoyed by everyone in the draw.

After our Friday match we had two days off. Saturday was a day off for us and Sunday was a day off at Wimbledon. They very rarely play on the Middle Sunday unless the weather has played havoc with the schedule, that way the grass has a day to recover. The weather has been so good the first week but you can really see it in the courts and how dry they are compared to some other years.

My fiancé Britt and I used the Sunday off to take the chance to head into the city on Saturday night. Wimbledon offers players tickets to go see a theatre show each year, so this year we decided to go and see Aladdin. Surprisingly, I'm a big fan of West End musicals and we really enjoyed it!

*Groth and Lindstedt would fall on Monday to Franko Skugor and Nikola Mektic in four sets.
