Doubles is all about fast volleys and faster reflexes, but sometimes you can't be fast enough. Oliver Marach was on the receiving end of a big blow when Jay Clarke pounded a high forehand volley his way. Marach can really only blame his partner Mate Pavic for setting him up with a high slice.

Clarke and Marcus Willis did well to help Marach get back up, but would ultimately lose the third-round encounter in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (3).

Willis, Great Britain's greatest Cinderella story last year, lost in the final round of singles qualifying this time around. But, he found some magic on the doubles court, partnering with 18-year-old Clarke to stun defending champions Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut in the second round.
