Being a lines umpire has its challenges, from dealing with angry players after making close calls to stray serves coming your way—fast. One Wimbledon linesman became the center of attention during the opening round battle between Thanasi Kokkinakis and Juan Martin del Potro on Tuesday.

First, he was nailed in the shoulder by a Del Potro serve, and later in the set, hit by a Kokkinakis serve.

Del Potro would win the encounter over the young Australian, 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (2), 6-4, and the lineman walked away unharmed to judge another day.
