It is only fitting with the upcoming September release of Battle of the Sexes that Olly Murs and Louisa Johnson released a new music video portraying their own version of the historic match.

The song is about love and relationships rather than tennis, with no apparent lyrical links to the sport or its famous Battle of the Sexes. However, Murs and Johnson spend the entire video duking it out on a grass court:

If anything, it looks like the British stars of The X Factor enjoyed themselves just in time for the start of Wimbledon.

The 33-year-lld Murs rose to fame as an X Factor finalist in 2009. He has released four No. 1 singles, the most recent being "Troublemaker." Johnson won The X Factor in 2015 at just 17 years old, becoming the youngest winner in program history.

While the match was no King vs. Riggs, Johnson vs. Murs is fun nonetheless, and yet another example of tennis crossing over into pop culture.
