It took less than an hour for Ramkumar Ramanathan to score the biggest win of his career. The Indian, ranked No. 222, took out top-seeded Dominic Thiem in the second round of Antalya, 6-3, 6-2.

The 22-year-old qualifier had just won his first ATP World Tour match of 2017 the day before over Rogerio Dutra Silva.

Ramanathan has never won a main draw Grand Slam match, while his opponent just reached the semifinals of Roland Garros. Thiem will be disappointed by this stunning defeat, but doesn't have much time to dwell on it as Wimbledon starts on Monday.

Ramanathan wasn't ranked high enough to make the Wimbledon qualifying draw as the cut-off date was May 29, when he was ranked outside the Top 250.
