She joined Team Porsche and racer Mark Webber to learn more about the history of the event.

The 30-year-old—dressed in Dior—was surrounded by cameraman, racers and pit crew alike as they gathered for a photo-op before the big event.

The luck of the five-time Grand Slam champion must have rubbed off, as Team Porsche snagged the win and the respect of Sharapova.

Due to an injury sustained in Rome, Sharapova has had to miss the entire grass-court season.
