Perhaps the realms of tennis and religion don't overlap, as least not as openly, as you might think. Real beauty found its way into the French Open draw when Ons Jabeur of Tunisia became the first Arab woman to make the third round of a Grand Slam.

She did so in style at that, with a game predicated on the drop shot. Against Top 10 players, "I like to show myself," said Jabeur, then ranked No. 114, "and show off my drop shots a little bit." She giggled upon saying that last part. It's that dart in her quiver that hounded No. 6 seed Dominika Cibulkova, who Jabeur defeated in straight sets.

Only Jabeur wasn't supposed to be there. Her only route out of the qualifying rounds was for someone else to pull out, making her the "lucky loser" to enter the main draw. Jabeur made the most of it.

"Well, when I win, I represent the Arab world," she said. "When I lose, I try to be just Ons Jabeur."
