Elina Svitolina won her fourth title of 2017 by ousting Simona Halep in Rome on Sunday, 4-6, 7-5, 6-1. Despite the fact that she should be very accustomed to holding trophies, the Ukrainian had some struggles keeping the her hardware together.

She even had trouble keeping it in her own hands.

Mishaps aside, Svitolina is peaking right in time for the French Open (where she achieved her best Grand Slam result in 2015 by reaching the quarterfinals).

The 22-year-old took out three seeds during the week (Halep, Garbine Muguruza and Karolina Pliskova). Not to take away from her performance, but Svitolina was aided along the way by Muguruza retiring after five games with a neck injury, and Halep suffering an ankle roll in the first set.

Svitolina has won the most titles on the WTA tour this season and the most matches (31).
