Let's get this out of the way now: Maternity looks great on Serena Williams.

What's more, she recently celebrated the birth of her forthcoming baby—due in late 2017—with a two-day shower. Sister Venus Williams was certainly among the guests, as were Serena's other two sisters, Lyn and Isha, mother Oracene and a cadre of girlfriends.

Yes, you read that correctly. And yes, only Serena.

Separately, pal Kelly Rowland of erstwhile girl group Destiny's Child dished on her affection for Serena, fiancé Alexis Ohanian and the child she is carrying in an AOL interview that aired live on Facebook:

"I'm so happy for her, and I'm so happy for the incredible gentleman that she has in her life," Rowland said. "[Ohanian] is just incredible. He knows he's incredible, and the two of them together just—mmm!"

Asked in the AOL chat whether her two-year-old son and Serena's forthcoming child will romp together, Rowland wasted no time in sharing, "Oh, of course that's gonna happen!"

Now to see whether destiny decides it will be a daughter or a son for Serena.
