Francesca Schiavone pulled out an incredible tweener during her quarterfinal match in Rabat against Tatjana Maria. She then followed it up with a deft lob to eventually win the point. The unseeded Schiavone would move into the semifinals with a 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 win.

The 36-year-old is on a eight-match winning streak, fresh from her title in Bogota.
