It may not be reported widely by mainstream media, but WTA players Tara Moore of Great Britain and Conny Perrin of Switzerland are not just colleagues and doubles partners. They are engaged to be married.

What’s more, they faced off early this week in a qualifying match in Rabat, Morocco. Perrin won this encounter, 6-1, 6-2.

The 26-year-old went on to stake a place in the main draw against top seeded Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (where she would fall, 6-2, 7-6 (6)).

Amidst the dearth of purely on-court analytics lays another statistic that might intrigue a good may tennis fans: How many times have significant others faced off in sanctioned tour or major matches?

Fans new and old will be watching as this pair makes its way through singles and doubles draws—and the great game of life. Moore is currently at a career-high ranking of No. 149, while Perrin is at No. 216.
