It's official, Petra Kvitova is back on court holding a tennis racquet. In December, the two-time Wimbledon champion underwent left hand surgery for cut tendons and nerves after a burglar attacked her with a knife in her Czech Republic home.

Fans already knew things were looking up after Caroline Wozniacki spoke about recently visiting Kvitova.

"It's good to see her smiling..." the Dane said. "I really hope that she's going to come back. And most importantly, I think it's important to mentally kind of get over it. I'm sure it must be very difficult for her."

While Kvitova is hitting again, she isn't entirely set on her return date. The 27-year-old hinted it could be at Roland Garros.

Kvitova was ranked No. 11 when she played her last match, a Fed Cup final rubber against France's Caroline Garcia in November.
