America’s talented prospect Frances Tiafoe is from Maryland and loves the Washington Wizards. His team made the playoffs too, earning a No. 4 seeding. The teenager was excited when the Wizards took a two-game lead in their best-of-seven series against the Atlanta Hawks.

The Wizards are in the same half of the draw as the Celtics, leading to some friendly bantering between Kyrgios and Tiafoe.

Tiafoe suggested that Kyrgios would be better off joining the Wizard fan club, and of course Kyrgios had a reply.

The Celtics and Wizards have a turbulent rivalry. They’ve had physical confrontations in games earlier this season, and in January, the Wizards wore all black clothing to symbolize a funeral game against the  Celtics.

Kyrgios and Tiafoe's teams may get another shot at each other before the two players ever face off on court. In the playoffs, the Celtics and Wizards are favored to advance, where they would battle for a spot in the final. If it happens, expect a lot more banter between the two young pros.
