Memoirs can give incredible insight into the early lives of our favorite players. Rafael Nadal wrote one, as have retired stars like Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras and many more. Now Maria Sharapova is joining the literary ranks with her new autobiography, Unstoppable: My Life So Far.

Written during the last year while she has been serving a 15-month suspension for failing a drug test at the 2016 Australian Open, the Russian dives into her early life and how she ended up in Florida before taking over the WTA tour.

In a blog post, Sharapova talked about what she hopes readers get out of her book and what they can expect.

"I hope people take away every kind of lesson, good and bad," she said. "This is a story about sacrifice, what you have to give up. But it’s also just the story of a girl and her father and their crazy adventure."

The book will be released on September 12.
