While tennis fans across the globe were glued to their televisions as they watched the men’s semifinals at the Miami Open on Friday, one tennis family had more important matters to attend to.
Lauren McHale, the sister of WTA professional Christina McHale, and ATP player Ryan Harrison, were married in Austin, Texas.

While Christina had sixth-seeded Garbine Muguruza on the ropes in Miami, eventually losing 0-6, 7-6(6), 6-4, she bounced right back in time to take on a new job for her sister’s big day: photographer.

The younger McHale sister was also the Maid of Honor at the wedding, but she was not the only tennis star in attendance — others included Denis Kudla, Michael Russell and Ryan’s brother, Christian Harrison, who was the Best Man.
While tennis players dance figuratively on the court all the time, the newly-married couple shared dances at the wedding as well.

After Harrison lost to eventual semifinalist Fabio Fognini in his Miami Open opener, he was excited about one thing.

All in all, while Lauren Harrison was thrilled to see her former school, the University of North Carolina, advance to the NCAA Men’s Basketball championship game on Monday night, there will only be one thing she remembers from this weekend.
