Whether pure luck or epic reaction time, Jack Sock managed to deflect a smash from one half of the Bryan brothers during their semifinals doubles match in the Miami Open. His doubles partner Nicholas Monroe sent the ball high, accidentally putting Sock in danger.

However, Sock had other plans and managed to curb the ball away from his opponents, taking the point. The American is proving to be a massive force both in singles and doubles, reaching the quarters individually before making a run in doubles.

If you learn anything from Sock this week, it's to never, ever, turn around in doubles. Who knows what could happen?

The crowd went wild after the exchange and the American pair went on to win, 7-6 (5), 6-3 and make it into the final.
