When Roger Federer plays, the crowd knows that something big will happen and in his fourth-round match against Roberto Bautista Agut on Tuesday, two points sent the audience into a frenzy.

The first came in the second set when Federer used his standard Swiss magic to set up a perfect volley for the easy point. The "soft hands" hot shot got the crowd on their feet and ready for more.

During the next game, Federer sent Bautista Agut on a wild chase with sharp angles and delicate placements, only for the Spaniard to get to them each time.

It was a tense, but brilliant exchange that showed off the kind of magic that happens when an 18-time Grand Slam champion takes the court against a formidable foe.

Federer eventually defeated Bautista Agut, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (4). He will take on Tomas Berdych in the quarterfinals.
