According to, well, everyone, GQ magazine is getting flat-out dragged over labeling Roger Federer "the greatest tennis player of all time" in a tweet this week. The catalyst: The men's publication is actively courting readers of its April issue, the annual Style Bible, that delivers the ever-fashionable Federer as its cover model.

But wait. That's not all. Call it the Furerer furor, or call it what you will: A number of fans—of Federer, tennis and GQ, all—were less than thrilled about the fur factor in one of the 2017 Indian Wells champ's featured photos.

Despite putting their guy on its Style Bible cover, it seems GQ just can't win with Fed fans. Even so, rest assured that he's going to move units on newsstands for the magazine. Turns out this furor will be well worth it.
