After Elena Vesnina closed out a three-hour comeback against Svetlana Kuznetsova at the BNP Paribas Open to win her first career WTA Premier title, she was lapping up the well-deserved attention in press. Instead of getting to hold on tightly to the champion's award, her glass hardware was snatched away.

Surprisingly, Indian Wells only has one presentation trophy. So although Vesnina was busy soaking up her victory, she had to let Roger Federer pose with the iconic glass award after he topped Stan Wawrinka in straight sets.

Though Vesnina made some jokes about heartbreak, she was in too high of spirits to let the incident bring her down.

And of course the 31-year-old still got plenty of posing time with her beloved trophy.

There's not a lot of time to enjoy the win though, as both Vesnina and Federer are due in Miami this week.
