Serena Williams set to appear in Ocean's 8 film

Well, there it is. Serena Williams has broken wide open the rumor thatshe will make a cameo in the new, female-led Ocean's 8 film by appearing on set. Whatever her showing proves to be, she's a bona fide Lady in Red.

Forthcoming Baywatch star Kelly Rohrbach was recently spotted on the movie's set in preparation for a similar guest spot. No word yet as to whether the two appear in a scene together, but look for them to sidle up to some of the characters portrayed by (deep breath) Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Awkwafina, Sarah Paulson and Rihanna as the titular "eight."

Ocean's 8, a spin-off of the Ocean's trilogy, is set to release on June 8, 2018. Williams' appearance may not be the surprise-bomb that her starring role in Beyoncé's "Sorry" video was, but it's another in a long line of A-list appearances.
