Monday night saw the 10th anniversary of the BNP Paribas showdown, a night of exhibition matches that pitted the best in the world against each other. This year, the players were split into two teams: Team World and Team America.

The former was captained by Lleyton Hewitt and included Garbine Muguruza, Nick Kyrgios and Kei Nishikori, while the latter was captained by Andy Roddick and included Juan Martin del Potro, Jack Sock and Venus Williams.

Unfortunately for Team Americas, Team World won every single match, except for Williams defeating Muguruza.

Along with seeing great points, the BNP Paribas Showdown works to inspire the youth of today to play the tennis of tomorrow. The night's Play for Life ambassadors were children and young teens whose goal was to do just that.
