Last week, Nicole Gibbs made the best of her time in Acapulco by going on a yacht ride with some friends from her Stanford days. The crew included Stanford-turned-NFL stars Cameron Fleming of the New England Patriots, Patrick Skov of the Cleveland Browns and Shayne Skov of the San Francisco 49ers.

The athletes all caught a glimpse of professionals of another sport dive from a height of over 35 meters.  "For all the money in the world I wouldn't do it," Shayne Skov said. "I'll be [sitting] right here!"

Though they had no desire to conquer cliff diving, they did jump off the yacht and show off their inspired (more moderate) dives.

Gibbs said she had a frustrating week on court, falling in the first round to Pauline Parmentier and also losing in the second round of doubles. For the Tennis Channel's My Tennis Life series, the 24-year-old reflected on her experiences, and looked ahead to her wildcard entry into Indian Wells.

The world No. 94 will take on Heather Watson in the first round.
