Nick Kyrgios is a man of many wonders—and many observers wonder about him constantly. You might call him the player who launched a thousand think-pieces. After so many words have been spent on him, suffice it to say that Kyrgios himself is never short on just that, words.

Before he became the first (and only) man since Lleyton Hewitt to best Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal in his first match against each, Kyrgios engaged in a back-and-forth with foe Dudi Sela's fans this week in Acapulco, and then with Sela himself.

That wasn't the last of it, of course, as he couldn't help himself from quipping about the incidents via his trusty Twitter account.

Even so, Kyrgios probably succeeded in ousting the ramifications of those fairly nasty spats from the minds of tennis followers. He beat Djokovic rather handily, staging a serving clinic, before falling to the Djoker's Wimbledon 2016 vanquisher, Sam Querrey, in the Acapulco semifinals. No one can argue that he put on quite a show in Mexico—against Sela, Querrey, Djokovic and his detractors.

Whatever one thinks of Kyrgios’ attitude and sportsmanship—and there's not a fan or commentator who doesn't harbor an opinion—he's going to continue to be himself.
